Why Can’t ALL Festivals Be Like This?

Friday night I went to the Local First “Live and Local” celebration of Michigan Products. www.localfirst.com. It was held at the Grand River Grocery in Ada, MI. They served up burgers and hotdogs from local meats on locally produced buns. The beans in the baked beans and the potatoes in the potato salad were Michigan grown. There were also Michigan sweet pepper salad and potato chips. For dessert Max and Emily’s cheesecake was sold. And, the beverages included Faygo pop, Grand Traverse Distillery vodka, Short’s beer, and 2 Lads wines. Why can’t all of our festivals server Michigan foods and beverages?
